Hi! I would like to welcome you to our new web site and introduce myself to you.
I have been in private practice in Baton Rouge for over 20 years. I love dentistry and enjoy all phases of treatment from regular check-ups to restoring decayed, broken, or missing teeth. I love enhancing smiles with whitening, porcelain veneers, and crowns. I know how important appearance is because every relationship starts with a smile!
I enjoy getting to know my patients and have been in practice long enough to see my patient's children grow up, get married, and bring in children of their own. It is a joy to know patients like family.
I was born in Lutcher, LA and grew up in Benton, AR. Benton is a small rural town in Arkansas located between Little Rock and Hot Springs. I grew up in the country where we had horses, cows, chickens, pigs, rabbits, ducks, and dogs. I spent much of my childhood hanging out with my dad and brothers learning things like how to rebuild a straight-6 engine, plow the garden with horses, and haul hay. I played baseball, football, and ran track in high school. I have two brothers and one sister. I am the only one in my family that moved out of Arkansas. Mom still asks me when I am moving back home. I have to remind her that Baton Rouge is my home. She understands however, she still asks me every time she sees me.
I love to fish, hunt, play golf, and go to LSU football and baseball games!!! Family is very important to me and I spend most of my time hanging out with my wife Pamela and my two daughters. On Friday nights you will usually find me at the Parkview High School games where my youngest daughter is a cheerleader.
Even though I grew up in Arkansas I am a BIG LSU fan! I got my bachelor's degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR. Scotty Pippin was playing basketball at UCA while I was there. I went on to LSU Dental School in New Orleans and graduated in 1989. I have two daughters. One attends Southeastern and the other is at Parkview High School. My wife Pamela and I have been married for over 27 Years. We met in High School. She was 16 and I was 17. What a wonderful thing it is to know someone as well as I know Pamela!
